David Shepherd Wildlife artist of the year 2017
I’m both very pleased and excited to be exhibiting the “Standing Guard’ buffalo drawing at the David Shepherd Wildlife artist of the year 2017 at the Mall Galleries in London on Tuesday 27th June.
There will be 163 paintings, sculptures and drawings up for the coveted prize along with a runner up and 7 Category Winners.

This finished piece started in August 2016 and finished 3 hours before the deadline in February.. It’s 250+ hours of work which I had to pick up and put down so many time. It’s by far the best and largest I’ve drawn and I’m so please it has been selected as a contender.
So, watch this space, I will post the lucky winners, I’ve seen the contenders and there are some amazing works from both Amateur and Professional artists from all over the world. To be part of that is very humbling…
